This photo was taken from high up in the flight-levels. Enroute to destination, we approached the border of the famous Sierra- Nevada range. With a little bit of colour correction, and some shadow work, I was able to pull out so much more character in this shot. You can see the lake in the front of the mountains with perfectly still winds. So still in fact, that the reflection of the first row of mountains can be clearly seen on the surface of the lake. A beautiful reminder of Mother Nature showing off some of her best work!
